Week of December 17-21, 2012

Kindergarten Groups-Review Week- letters, sounds and formation. We will review sight words and take an assessment on letter formation (upper and lowercase) on Tuesday 12/18

First Grade Groups:  We will preview our next unit (which is unit # 6).  Words with the suffix -s- (hills, cans, dogs, nets).

Second Grade Groups:  Will will preview our next unit (which is unit #7).  Words with open syllables (long vowels)- (me, fly, hi, baby)

NO SCHOOL on December 20-21, 2012

Kindergarten Classes: We will review ALL letters and sounds to begin our reading process in January.

First Grade Classes:  We will wrap up our unit on glued sounds: /am/ and /an/ and take our assessment on Friday 12/14/12

Second Grade Classes: We will wrap up our unit on long vowels with silent e and take our assessment on Friday 12/14/12.
